Goa was the first stop on my round the world trip and I spent one unforgettable month here.

In the north there’s the hippie yoga community of Arambol with its sunset beach parties, yoga and meditation workshops and nearby night market. Over the border in Karnataka is the historic city of Hampi, which is well worth a visit.

To the south there’s Palolem with its tucked away yoga centres and beautiful beaches.

I also explored Kerala, which lies south of Goa and is known as Gods Own Country thanks to its gorgeous green tea plantations. Here you will find examples of India’s traditional arts, culture and temples.
