Backpacking South America is something else. It is colourful, wild and challenging. I spent a month crossing this continent, from the painted cities and dramatic deserts of Chile to the vibrant beachfront city of Rio de Janeiro, then via the spectacular Iguazu Falls to the impressive Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires where I discovered the city’s history, tried tango dancing and visited a beautiful yoga studio.
